3 Tips To Get You Started…
Are you guilty of saying ” I can’t stand looking at them anymore” when it comes to your home projects?
Many people have been home for a while now. This can be a blessing and/or a curse. A blessing ’cause family time has really meant time spent with your family. A curse because your eyes are seeing all the home improvement projects you have been putting off and now you can’t stand looking at them.
These are challenging times and we need to stay positive. What better way than tackling, even one or two of your “honey-do” items!
Repainting your home office can give you a fresh vibe and will do wonders for your Zoom calls.
Who would have thought looking into our colleagues’ home offices would become such a trend. A little insight into their personal worlds. Let alone, become the norm.
If your dining table/room has become the new classroom for your kids, set it up in such a way that makes learning fun for them. Hang some of their projects up to showcase their achievements. Have school supplies readily available, so they are not running around looking for pencils or workbooks. It’s important to remember their worlds (routines) have been altered too.
A new perspective knowing this room is getting used more than holiday dinners is a bonus too.
When approaching your home improvement projects think of the end result. Items are now crossed off your list, it feels sooooo good to look at your accomplishments and I’m sure your stress level has been reduced, even just a little.
Until you hear your child yelling, “Mom, why are there suds all over the laundry room floor?” Then you are off running to deal with situations you could call life’s hiccups.
When the hiccups get too much, you may want to consider hiring an interior designer that can guide you as well as provide resources that can get the job done. That’s where I come in….I’m here to help. You can find out more about me here.
